A veteran is an ex member of HM Armed Forces (HMAF), or a Merchant Navy seafarer or a fisherman who served in support of HMAF.

The Veterans Wellbeing Group is set out like a course and is run over 12 weeks, The course is run in modules with each module consisting of two sessions and each session is two hours. The course covers a range of topics such as alcohol and drugs, depression and sleep, worry and social anxiety, anger and employment, education and training. They're run on a loop so you can join the group at the start of any module.

The group is based in Darlington but open for all across County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire. It's easily accessible by public transport.
