The United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Forum (UKABIF) is a not-for-profit coalition of organisations and individuals.
UKABIF aims to promote the understanding of all aspects of acquired brain injury. Their priorities are to educate, inform and provide networking opportunities for professionals, service providers, planners and policy makers and to raise the profile of ABI and campaign for better services in the UK.
The Forum encourages the development of good practice by setting up working parties and conferences to discuss any aspect of acquired brain injury. The Forum addresses prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, health, social welfare, education, housing, vocational and occupational work, financial, legal, civil rights, ethnic and other issues in which brain injured people and their carers require representation.
