The UK Adhesions Society (UKAS) is a voluntary organisation dedicated to promoting awareness, aiding research and working towards improved treatments, while bringing comfort and hope to those diagnosed with a debilitating condition known as ARD (Adhesions Related Disorders).
They offer information for patients and physicians, internet based support in the form of chat rooms, message boards and discussion groups, a network across the UK for men, women, and their families, to communicate with fellow sufferers, directing them to medical and complementary health professionals.
