The Transition Information Network (TIN) is an alliance of organisations and individuals who come together with a common aim to improve the experience of disabled young people's transition to adulthood. TIN is developing into a primary source of information and good practice for disabled young people, families and professionals. (Members include disabled young people, families, health, education and social care professionals and a range of voluntary organisations including Contact a Family, Council for Disabled Children, Scope, Skill, National Autistic Society, Mencap and The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities.) TIN provides this information through its website, magazine, newsletter, seminars and events. You can register for free via the website.
TIN doesn't have a helpline and cannot give advice to families.
