Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) delivers health promotion campaigns, national services and local services directly to people with or affected by HIV and other sexual health issues. Direct services include: Advice, Information, Community Support, Counselling and Emotional Support, Complementary Therapies, Support Groups, testing for HIV and other STIs, Training.
THT Direct Helpline can offer
- HIV related information
- Details of and/or referral to HIV services (THT, Lighthouse & others).
- Information sheets and booklets on HIV and STI related issues
- Generalist advice, for example about eligibility for welfare benefits, debt, unemployment, community care, immigration and housing.
- Emotional support.
