There are also a number of SHA Family Support Branches. These groups provide an opportunity to meet with others whose lives are affected by Huntington's disease. Local groups are primarily attended by family members. These groups provide a forum for distributing specialist information about Huntington's disease, sharing experiences and the opportunity to organise fundraising events. Guest speakers are invited to talk on subjects chosen by each local group.
