Rett syndrome is a complex neurological disorder that affects mainly females. Rett UK (formerly the Syndrome Association UK) is a national organisation giving help, advice and support to families and professionals.

Their services include a quarterly magazine, a family weekend, self-help support groups across the UK, and parent to parent support through a regional contact network. Their Family Support Team provides proactive support, advice and information to families, carers and professionals. They fund research and work in partnership internationally. They are a registered charity and rely on donations and grants for their income.
