Pet Fostering Service Scotland (PFSS) provides an emergency care service for pet owners who are temporarily unable to care for their pet through accident or illness. They aim to take away the extra stress that worry about a beloved pet can cause.

They also work in collaboration with The Blue Cross, who ensure that pets which have no home to return to, are found caring new owners and loving homes.

PFSS aims to help any pet owner who:

  • Is suffering from poor health.
  • Has been made temporarily homeless.
  • Is fleeing a domestic abuse home.

PFSS is for owners in emergencies only who have no one able to care for their pet and cannot afford kennel or cattery fees. There are limited foster homes available. They do not look after pets for holidays.
