NIAMH, the Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health, provides local support for those with mental health needs in locations across Northern Ireland. A wide range of services are offered including housing schemes, home support, advocacy services, information services, public education and research.
As well as the provision of direct services, raising awareness of mental health issues in the wider community through training and events has been an important aspect of the Association's role since its foundation.
They also provide an important service for the corporate sector - Carecall - which provides counselling, training and consultancy for employers on mental health in the workplace.
NIAMH produce a number of publications each year which are available for sale to the public.
