The NEXUS Institute provides counselling and support to anyone over the age of 16 years, who has been sexually abused at any time in his or her life. They offer one-to-one counselling, group therapy, support groups and a range of client workshops.

NEXUS has 45 outreach centres across Northern Ireland and offers the following services:

• Counselling for anyone over the age of 16 years who has been sexually abused.
• Workshops for survivors on stress management, anger management, assertiveness and self-development.
• Family education workshops and support groups for adult family members of survivors.
• Telephone information service during opening hours (as above).
• Training for professionals and organisations on issues related to sexual abuse, counselling and associated issues.

Self-referrals are accepted for all the above services.
