Crohn's and Colitis UK provides general information about inflammatory bowel diseases for those suffering from these diseases and to offer support to those affected by these diseases and their relatives and friends. The association promotes research into the treatment, management and causes of these diseases and publishes worthwhile results. The association's activities include the following:

• Annual grants to researchers.
• Individual welfare funds.
• Crohn's and Colitis Support.
• Booklets and quarterly newsletters.
• Publicity and fundraising.
• Area, local and national group meetings.

Membership is open to patients, relatives, health professionals and anyone with an interest in inflammatory bowel disease. Members receive a pack of informative booklets, quarterly newsletters and information about their local self-help group.
