MGEDT - Men Get Eating Disorders Too
Web: www.mengetedstoo.co.uk
'Men Get Eating Disorders Too' is a web and publicity campaign that aims to raise awareness of male eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder) and associated exercise disorders (compulsive exercise and 'Bigorexia.')
The site provides essential information and advice on eating disorders including definitions on what they are and the symptoms, treatments and support services available. There are also personal stories and a message board so that male users can connect with other men with eating disorders to share their experiences and offer peer support.
The authors and editors of this article are employed to create accurate and up to date content reflecting reliable research evidence, guidance and best clinical practice. They are free from any commercial conflicts of interest. Find out more about updating.
