The MDS Patient Support Group:

• Provides support to people with MDS (myelodysplastic syndromes) and their carers.
• Advances public education in all aspects of MDS in the UK, through publications and the internet.
• Promotes and supports scientific research into the treatment and care of MDS patients.
• Provides a vehicle for networking between sufferers and carers.

The MDS UK Patient Support Group is affiliated with the MDS Forum, the foremost UK organisation focused upon MDS, providing information and advice on the status and progress with MDS treatment in the UK.

The MDS UK Patient Support Group is also supported by major pharmaceutical companies and other organisations.

The MDS UK Patient Support Group is affiliated with the MDS Foundation Inc., a multidisciplinary international organisation dedicated to sharing and improving MDS information and awareness between patients, globally.

The MDS UK Patient Support Group runs regular patient information days and helps patients to set up their own regional meetings.
