Hope UK is a drug education charity that offers drug awareness sessions for children, young people and their parents. Children’s, youth, family and church workers can receive from Hope UK that informs them and provides practical strategies for use in their work.

Hope UK is a Christian charity which works within church networks but also spends at least 50% of its time and resources helping other voluntary and faith groups as well as schools. Furthermore, much of the work undertaken with local Christian groups enables their staff and volunteers to better serve their surrounding communities.

The guiding principles that underpin Hope UK’s work are:

• Caring for oneself
• Caring for others

As well as being part of mainstream ‘primary prevention’ activities in alcohol and drug education, these principles are at the heart of Christian teaching.
