When people get older they like to maintain their independence and live in their own homes, remaining active in the community. However, for their families who do not live close and have busy lives, this can be a worry as they may not be available when their elderly relatives need help. To provide you with peace of mind, Home Calls Ltd has a solution to this problem by using readily available technology - the telephone, to check that things are OK, and by alerting a family member or neighbour if there is no response. This is not an automated service, a live person will speak with your loved one in a caring manner and ensure that they are OK and do not require any assistance.
If you are concerned about a family member living alone or if you live on your own, this service could be ideal for you.
The following individual calling programs can be performed using this service:
- Peace of mind call -- calls to older loved one to ensure they are OK
- Reminder Calls -- simple reminders such as appointments
- Medication Reminders -- reminder subscribers to take their medication
