Established in 1989, Helping Hands has been providing live-in care to people across England and Wales who need a permanent level of support but who want to remain within the comfort and familiarity of home. A direct alternative to residential care, it offers one to one bespoke support and is based around individual routines and preferences. Needs can vary from short term respite, convalescent or companionship care, to more intensive packages for those with very high dependency needs. Specific conditions they support range from dementia through to multiple sclerosis and stroke.
Live-in care support enables you to feel safe, comfortable and remain in your own home. The carer will be able to support with:
- Personal Care: toileting, bathing, overseeing medication, mobility
- Housekeeping: cooking, laundry, shopping, cleaning
- Companionship
