The Healing Foundation is a national fundraising charity championing the cause of people living with disfigurement and visible loss of function by funding research into pioneering surgical and psychological healing techniques. Through research they also raise awareness about the cause and provide information about the sources of support.

The Healing Foundation objectives are:

• To fund research into the improvement of treatments for the benefit of people who suffer from the physical, psychological, social, or emotional disadvantage of disfigurement.
• To raise awareness of the useful results of such research and help train workers throughout the world in appropriate treatments.
• To inform people about the availability of such treatments.
