Guide Dogs breeds and trains guide dogs, trains visually impaired people to use guide dogs, and provides other services and facilities for the visually impaired.

You don't need to have lost all your sight, or to be registered as blind or partially-sighted for Guide Dogs to help you. You just need to have sight loss that makes it difficult to get around independently or live life to the full. A guide dog only costs 50p and there are no age restrictions to having a guide dog. They have guide dog owners in their 70s and 80s and have recently removed the minimum age for applying.
