Group B Strep Support provides information on group B streptococcal (GBS) infections in babies and their prevention. (Group B Strep is also known as Beta Strep, Beta Haemolytic Strep, Strep B and its proper name, Streptococcus agalactia.) Information leaflets are available aimed at pregnant women who have never heard of GBS, pregnant women who carry the GBS bacteria, parents of infected babies, and healthcare professionals. All leaflets can be downloaded from the website.

The charity also campaigns for better practice to prevent GBS infections in babies. It supports continued research into better prevention of GBS infections in babies, such as vaccines for GBS.

Membership is available to individuals and healthcare professionals and includes regular newsletters
