EPDA has 45 member organisations and advocates for the rights and needs of 1.2 million people with Parkinson's and their families in Europe. Their aim is to raise awareness to ensure that all people with Parkinson's and their families have access to the right management and the right treatment at the right time.
Organisation: EPDA is a non-political, non-religious and non-profit making umbrella organisation for European Parkinson's patient organizations.
Vision: Enabling a full life with Parkinson's while supporting the search for a cure.
This can be achieved by:
- Facilitating dialogue and sharing of successful activities across member organisations (MOs)
- Providing information, support and training to MOs.
To:
- Fight for the interests of people living with Parkinson's with key European decision makers
- Raise awareness of important and emergent European agendas with MOs that may impact their ability to achieve their core aims and objectives in future.
