Dyslexia Scotland is a national voluntary organisation which represents a large network of branches throughout Scotland. Its aims are to raise awareness of dyslexia and its related difficulties and to act as a clearing house for enquiries on all aspects of dyslexia. Dyslexia Scotland's resource centre is based in Stirling. This centre is stocked with books, teaching materials, specialist computer software, audio and visual aids covering all aspects of dyslexia. The centre is available on request. Those unable to access the resource centre can arrange for a visit.

Information, advice and support for dyslexics of all ages, parents, teachers, professionals and non-professionals is available from the local branches. In some areas, tutoring and assessments are available.
