The Dyscovery Centre provides a specialist assessment and intervention service for individuals with specific learning difficulties such as Developmental Coordination Disorder, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Asperger's Syndrome/Autistic Spectrum Disorders and associated difficulties. The team will see children, young people and adults who may have symptoms relating to: poor co-ordination, language and communication, self care, social skills and behaviour. These in turn may impact on reading, spelling, handwriting, organisation and concentration.
All members of the team are state registered, qualified, experienced in learning difficulties, and adhere to professional standards and codes of practice.
