Depression UK is a small national self-help organisation for anyone suffering from depression or those who care about them. By means of self-help and mutual support, they try to help their fellow sufferers overcome the fears, anxieties and isolation felt by them.

For their members, they provide six newsletters a year, penfriend and phonefriend schemes, have access to D-UK chatroom, and they are in touch with a number of independent self-help groups. Members pay £10.00 per annum or what they can afford.

Note: the charity changed its name in September 2007. Prior to that it was known as 'The Fellowship of Depressives Anonymous'.
