DABS Pathfinder is a pointing service that provides free support and information all over the UK and the Republic of Ireland to anyone and any organisation regarding issues to do with childhood abuse, incest and rape.
Their telephone support contacts are professional counsellors or therapists who work in this field and they are committed to providing confidential help and information to:
- Victims or survivors of childhood abuse, incest or rape.
- Partners, family or friends needing to know more about these issues, wondering if and how they can help and recognising that they may also need support.
- Voluntary and professional workers looking for information to assist clients or those they are working with, or who themselves are searching for training and courses.
DABS Pathfinder is not a charity and all the organisational running costs are absorbed by the volunteers.
DABS Pathfinder volunteers are prohibited from offering their services directly but should you wish to engage any one of them, or the services of any counsellor, group or organisation we strongly recommend that you read all the free advice and information you will receive.
The authors and editors of this article are employed to create accurate and up to date content reflecting reliable research evidence, guidance and best clinical practice. They are free from any commercial conflicts of interest. Find out more about updating.
