Their aims and objectives are:
- To provide a network for constructive dialogue between patients, professionals and parliamentarians to develop and propose solutions to chronic pain in the UK based on evidence and best practice in order to:
- improve the delivery of services for the prevention, treatment and management of chronic pain in the UK
- help employers provide the necessary support and flexibility that will enable more working people that live with chronic pain to achieve their own aspirations.
- To present these solutions to policy makers in order to elevate chronic pain to the heart of the political agenda and encourage a new and integrated approach to chronic pain between government departments.
