Cerebra is a charity set up to help improve the lives of children with brain related conditions through researching, educating and directly supporting children and their carers.

They recognise the child with a disability as a child first and foremost and try to work for them as children rather than for their disability. They want to improve their lives and help them be comfortable with their world, giving them the chances for experiences and enjoyment that all children should have.

They provide information in various ways, including through their postal lending library, which loans books relating to neurological conditions and sensory equipment.

They aim to educate both parents and professionals through their e-learning course and they offer CPD courses to better educate professionals to be better able to deal with these special children.
