Capability Scotland works with disabled people of all ages and their families and carers throughout Scotland.

Services

They provide a diverse range of services including: community living, day and residential services, employment services, respite/short breaks, education and learning, family support and activities, disability equality training.

Campaigning

In addition to providing a range of modern, flexible services they are also a campaigning organisation, committed to using the influence they have to ensure disabled people achieve the same human and civil rights as the rest of society.

ASCS

Advice Service Capability Scotland (ASCS) is a national disability advice and information service. ASCS provides free, confidential advice and information on a range of disability issues including advice on cerebral palsy.

Training and Consultancy

Capability's Training and Consultancy team works with businesses and organisations across Scotland to help them meet their legal obligations under disability legislation and promote best practice in disability equality.

Volunteering Opportunities

Capability currently has over 500 volunteers doing various roles. They have various opportunities around the country such as: Administration, befriending, fundraising, classroom activities, computer support.
