Brainstrust is the brain cancer charity which supports patients and carers at the point of diagnosis, but also looks beyond this point to improve the treatment, care and outcomes of all patients who are diagnosed with a brain tumour.

Brainstrust's mission has one goal: to make things happen for people with brain cancer.

Brainstrust:

• Supports patients and their families - includes 24/7 phone and email support, and provides online information developed with leading neuro-healthcare professionals.
• Works with hospitals to secure care pathways for patients.
• Campaigns and advocates on behalf of the brain tumour community.
• Funds technology for treatment (eg intra-operative MRI).
• Funds research that translates into clinical practice (eg functional imaging).
• Has achieved the 'Information Standard' - the mark of high quality information, awarded by the Department of Health.
