The London Bereavement Network (bereavement.org.uk) aims to inform about the many kinds of services and support that are offered to bereaved people in London.

They also aim to refer enquiries on to other agencies if they are not able to help.

They are also keen to promote the development of high standards in bereavement care and to this end they are interested in developments in this field, academic research and training. They are proud to have assisted in the development of the Standards for Bereavement Care and host these on their website which also provides information and support to members of the public who are bereaved and the professionals who support them. It also offers a list of bereavement services across London who offer support to people who live in their borough.

They also have Standards in Bereavement Care in the UK which were first published in 2001 as a joint project between Cruse Bereavement Care, National Council for Hospice and Palliative Care Services and the London Bereavement Network. (LBN lost funding in 2002 and now meets as a contact group between services and is called Bereavement Forum London.)
