The Association is a contact and support group for all persons affected by glycogen storage disease (GSD) and their families. Secondary purposes of the Association are:

To protect and promote the best interests of all persons affected with GSD.
To act as a vehicle of communication on GSD related matters.
To encourage the improvement of facilities for the treatment, study, education, shelter, recuperation and other general benefits to GSD affected persons.
To act as a focus for educational, scientific and charitable activities related to the disease.
To contact other similar groups worldwide.

The Association publishes a newsletter and produces a leaflet on GSD and the various types, and has a range of workshop reports which can be found on their website.
