Addictions UK provide a specialist, home-based addiction recovery and rehabilitation programme. Their treatment is abstinence-based but does not require residential rehabilitation (even if detox is required).

Their approach allows clients to continue their normal activities while they are guided on the path to a normal life, free from the pain and anguish of addiction and dependency problems.

They support clients by:

• Arranging Home-based Detox - with doctors prescribing suitable medications where necessary, followed by nursing support.
• Recovery/Treatment Support - by facilitating intervention - aimed at encouraging clients and their families towards changing their behaviour positively.
• Relapse Prevention and Extended Care - It is easy to "stop" taking drugs and alcohol - the hard part is "staying stopped".
• Free After-care - a 24/7 Helpline - free to all clients and their families who have contracted with the service.
• Family Support and Intervention - they can help guide a family member/friend into treatment - residential or home-based here in the UK or abroad.
