The APT (Aviation for Paraplegics and Tetraplegics) Charitable Trust was founded with the objective of providing facilities to teach seriously physically disabled people to fly, giving them the opportunity to enjoy the freedom of the sky, while regaining self-esteem by acquisition of a skill rarely achieved even by the able-bodied.
