ACROSS is a charity dedicated to helping terminally ill and severely disabled adults and children to go on pilgrimage to Lourdes. They cannot fly due to their medical conditions, and so ACROSS takes them there by Jumbulances, purpose-built coach-ambulances, with able-bodied helpers, including doctors and nurses. Their aim is to provide them with a truly memorable, enjoyable taste of life in all its fullness, and to help them find spiritual fulfilment on the way.
