Yeldall offers a Christian response to drug and alcohol addiction. Yeldall Manor is a drug/alcohol residential rehabilitation centre situated in 38 acres at Hare Hatch near Reading. It has been open since 1977 with 33 places for men between the ages of 18 and 50 and has developed into a dynamic and effective project.

Referrals are accepted from all over the United Kingdom. An efficient procedure ensures referrals are processed quickly, and places taken up as soon as possible, although this is obviously dependent on suitability and funding being obtained.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
