Weymouth Aftercare Centre offers a residential recovery programme for drug and alcohol dependent men (over the age of 18). The Centre aims to offer high quality, safe and secure treatment and rehabilitation. It assists, encourages and enables each client to recover from their individual dependencies, achieve and maintain an abstinent lifestyle, and to develop and improve life skills, particularly in relation to stress and anger management. The Centre's goal is that each client can return to society as a useful member of it, build self-esteem, grow in recovery and enjoy a much improved quality of life with stability in all areas.
Links have been built with local career and education colleges, as well as with supportive landlords and the local community. Former residents have access to continuing aftercare support. Referrals can be from any source initially and a pre-admission interview is always carried out. Clients are accepted from anywhere in the UK. Where appropriate, local authority assessment and funding will need to be arranged prior to admission. Full details of fees and funding issues can be obtained by contacting the above address.
