Vocaleyes is a registered charity working across the nation at a variety of venues and with a range of partner organisations. The heart of their mission is to work with blind and partially sighted people to enhance engagement with the arts. To date Vocaleyes has described more than 500 performances at over 90 venues throughout the UK.

Vocaleyes provides bespoke services in:

  • The provision of description in theatres, museums, galleries and heritage sites.
  • Training in description for staff and volunteers in theatres, museums, galleries and heritage sites.
  • Consultancy for theatres, museums, galleries and heritage sites wishing to make their service accessible through description.
  • Research and development into description.
