The Ulster Cancer Foundation is involved in many aspects of cancer, from prevention to patient support. It operates an information helpline for cancer-related queries for patients and their families, staffed by experienced cancer nurses, who can arrange counselling by personal appointment. Rehabilitation support services include the following.

  • Breast cancer support service
  • Laryngectomy support service
  • Lymphoma support service
  • Myeloma support service
  • Prostate support service
  • Ovarian cancer support service
  • Fitting service for mastectomy patients - bras, swimwear, etc
  • Headcoverings for patients with hairloss
  • Counselling available at 5 cancer centres throughout Northern Ireland
  • Art therapy
  • Beauty therapy
  • Colorectal support service
  • Leukaemia support group
  • Young adults support group
  • Creative writing
  • Reminiscene groups
  • Living with cancer course
  • Cancer information conferences throughout the year
  • Patient advocacy group
