RD4U is an internet support project for young people aged 12 - 25 years who have experienced a bereavement.

Young people can post poetry, pictures and experiences as well as make secure and confidential contact with other young people who have also experienced a bereavement through a mediated message board.

The site also offers additional support through an e-mail 'private message' service. Young people can write in for information, advice and support and their e-mails will be answered by one of the trained volunteers who are also young people.

In addition the project is supported by a helpline and users can request a copy of the CRUSE leaflet for young people 'After Someone Dies' via the website or helpline.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
