This service was designated from 1st April 1998 at the Queen Charlottes and Chelsea Hospital which is part of the Hammersmith Hospitals NHS Trust as part of the Directorate of Women's and Children's Services.
It aims to offer help and advice to adolescent and adult females with congenital abnormalities of the genital tract. Visit their website or contact the above for further information.
www.mrkh.org.uk is designed as an on-line support service for adolescent and adult females with MRKH (Mayer Rokitansky Kuster Hauser Syndrome - sometimes called Vaginal Agenesis, Mullerian Aplasia or Absent Vagina). It has a public and a secure section. The secure section contains a diary of events and chatroom and is only accessible for registered members who are diagnosed with MRKH syndrome. For more information on how to register for the secure section and the chatroom please contact the above helpline and speak to the Clinical Nurse Specialist.
