Jewish Care is a large health and social care organisation serving the Jewish community in London and the south east of England.
They believe Jewish people should have access to specialist services that are designed to meet their needs. This is reflected in the care they provide which recognises traditions, beliefs and cultures which are frequently shared by Jewish people. They offer care in an environment that recognises and respects the clients' Jewish identity.
They run over 70 centres and specialist services throughout London and the south east, caring for more than 7,000 people every week in the Jewish community. They provide services for:
- Older people.
- People with mental health problems.
- People with a physical or sensory disability, including those who are visually impaired.
- People with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.
- Holocaust survivors and refugees.
- People caring for others (carers).
- Younger people.
