They operate a telephone helpline and an online support service (NetLine) for anyone affected by a gambling problem, as well as a network of both face-to-face and online counselling.

They also maintain a peer-to-peer support network on their Forum, as well as daily Chatrooms – where users can discuss their thoughts, feelings and questions about problem gambling and get help and support from the others who have had similar experiences to their own.

If you or someone close to you is suffering from a gambling problem, or you would like to find out more – please visit their website or call their helpline.

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
