Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities is the national charity dedicated to creating routes into employment for people with all disabilities and medical conditions.

For nearly 30 years, Employment Opportunities has been supporting people with a wide range of disabilities into employment. In the last 10 years, they have helped over 10,000 people towards work.

Their mission is to change lives through employment and their vision is of a society where the full potential of people with disabilities is recognised in every workplace. They are committed to removing the barriers into employment faced by people with disabilities.

They have regional centres in many locations across Britain, plus a head office in London. Their trustees are drawn from large corporates and businesses of all sizes, representing the link between disabled people and employers.

They work with students and graduates, people with disabilities, employers and partner organisations. in partnership with:

PS - Health and Poverty

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.

See also MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY North East for details and links to campaigns against poverty.
