The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust aims to raise awareness of ectopic pregnancy and to offer support to those affected by this condition. The Trust is engaged in the following activities.

  • Support and information via a telephone helpline. A listening ear is given by women who have experienced an ectopic pregnancy.
  • Raising awareness of the condition among health professionals, women of child-bearing age, and the general public to promote early diagnosis and to preserve fertility.
  • Improving diagnosis and management by means of early pregnancy assessment units, modern testing and less invasive treatments to preserve fertility.
  • Research into the causes, treatment and prevention of ectopic pregnancy.
