Cancer Research UK was formed in February 2002. The charity conducts research into all aspects of cancer, and is delivering results that are already saving lives. It aims to further the understanding of the biology and causes of cancer, to develop new approaches for preventing and treating cancer, and to improve the quality of life for cancer patients.

A cancer information nurse team is available to answer questions in confidence (please note the team are unable to make a diagnosis or offer a medical opinion).

Perhaps the biggest cause of ill health in the world is poverty. Help to Make Poverty History. For example, why not lend some of your money to disadvantaged communities to enable them to trade their way out of poverty through schemes such as Shared Interest.
