BDA Smile
The British Dental Association (BDA) is a professional association for dentists. However, this section on their website called 'bdasmile' includes lots of information aimed at the general public about dentistry, various dental and oral problems, and dental procedures.
National Fluoride Information Centre (NFIC)
NFIC was established to meet a growing public demand foraccessible, accurate and relevant information on the issue of fluorides andfluoridation followingthe recent Government move to allow Strategic Health Authorities todecide whether or not to implement local schemes.Based at the University of Manchester they offer advice to parents, thegeneral public, health care workers and the media on all types offluorides and water fluoridation.
British Fluoridation Society

Set up by the General Dental Council. Helps patients and dental professionals resolve complaintsabout private dental services. NHS patients have had access to the NHS complaints process for years. This service provides a complaints resolution service for those who are treated privately.
British Society for Disability and Oral Health
A professional society but welcomes contact from disabled people or their carers who have experienced difficulty in obtaining dental care. A register is kept of the specific areas of interest of members, which can be used to put clients in touch with appropriate dental services.
