Weak Leg

Both legs normally have similar strength. Weakness of one or both legs can result from postural problems illness or injury;

  • transient weakness and tingling resulting from bad posture
  • physical damage to leg or hip muscles, ligaments, joints, bones or nerves eg Broken Leg
  • injury or other damage to the neck, back or spine through eg Spinal disc compression
  • brain damage from haemorrhage eg Stroke, injury eg Head injury or tumour
  • muscle or nerve wasting diseases (rarely)
