Bristol Vulval Pain Support Group
The primary aim of this group is to support women who are suffering from any form of vulval pain.
Vestibulodynia (vulval pain)
Women’s Health Concern provides an independent service to advise, reassure and educate women about their health concerns. They provide a range of factsheets including one in this area.
Vulval Awareness Campaign Organisation
The VACO website was set up out of respect for all ladies who have struggled with vulval cancer, and other vulval diseases and disorders.
British Association of Dermatologists
Their website aims to be a source for members of the public searching for reliable information about the skin and skin diseases. See their patient information section which includes information about vulvodynia (vulval pain) and vestibulodynia (pain just inside the vaginal entrance).
Lichen Planus UK
Support group for people with Lichen Planus (a skin condition that may also affect the vulva)
Pelvic Pain Support Network
This site covers several common as well as many less common pelvic painconditions. For example, Adenomyosis, Adhesions, Dysmenorrhoea (Painful Periods), Endometriosis, Fibroids, Fibromyalgia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Nerve damage (Sciatic, Pudendal, Ilio-inguinal), Ovarian Remnant Syndrome, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), Pudendal Neuralgia, Painful Bladder Syndrome/Interstitial Cystitis (PBS/IC), Vulvodynia. It has sections for patients, clinicians and researchers.
