This is a combination medicine containing paracetamol and domperidone. It is used to relieve the symptoms of migraine including headache, the feeling of sickness and also vomiting (being sick).
Paracetamol is a painkiller and helps to ease the pain of the migraine headache.
Domperidone is a medicine to prevent vomiting (being sick). It works by increasing the contractions of the stomach and intestines, which aids in quick absorption of the painkilling paracetamol and also by relieving nausea and vomiting.
Before taking paracetamol & domperidone
Before taking paracetamol & domperidone make sure your doctor or pharmacist knows:
- If you are pregnant, trying for a baby or breast-feeding.
- If you suffer from liver or kidney problems
- If you are an alcoholic, or drink a lot of alcohol
How to take paracetamol & domperidone
- One or two tablets are normally taken up to four times a day (every 6 hours).
- Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
Getting the most from your treatment
- Do not take any other preparations containing paracetamol at the same time as this medicine. If you are unsure which ones do contain paracetamol ask your pharmacist.
Can paracetamol & domperidone cause problems
Along with their useful effects all medicines can cause unwanted side effects, which usually improve as your body adjusts to the new medicine. Speak with your doctor or pharmacist if any of the following side effects continue or become troublesome.

- Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and light.
