Breathtakers is a registered charity 'specifically' supporting obliterative bronchiolitis. Their aim is to support families affected by this rare disease, raise awareness with doctors and other professionals and support initiatives, which will benefit OB sufferers.

Breathtakers:

• Provide information leaflets and packs
• Provide one-to-one advice for families, giving practical and emotional support
• Sponsor research and projects, which will contribute to the knowledge and treatment of OB and support initiatives which will help sufferers
• Fundraise to support the charities activities and objectives
• Annual family award. A small grant of up to £500 (see practical support page for details and how to apply)
• Raise awareness with doctors and other professionals
• Facilitate contact between OB families
• Lobby government for changes which will improve services and funding for OB sufferers
