UK Lichen Planus (UKLP) was set up in November 2007 to fill the gap in support for those living with the disease Lichen Planus (LP). The group is open to members worldwide, however treatments discussed are based on those used in the UK.

This support group is run by those living with LP for those living with LP. The group offers information, support and an understanding of what it feels like to be newly diagnosed with this disease as well as offering practical tips and ideas on how to cope day-to-day.

Their website includes up-to-date information, written with the approval of one of the UK's leading LP dermatologists Dr Susan Cooper (available in the 'information downloads' section). It also includes a forum for dermatologists, oral specialists, dentists and GPs to discuss this disease and the impact on patients.

UK Lichen Planus is an honorary member of the British Society for the Study of Vulval Disease.
